I was invited to share my survivor story with the doctors and nurses who attended the Post-Arrest and targeted temperature management conference. I recently learned that I had benefitted from this therapy when I went into cardiac arrest last March. TTM is used in patients who have had cardiac arrest by lowering the body temperature to 91° preserve and promote brain function.
